Wheels up to Doha then Auckland

After Zana and Vaughan left,we spent a few relaxing days at North or South Kommeno before going back to Gouvia Marina to start the wintering process - removing sails, cleaning, arranging for work to be done over winter etc. Two days of intensive work.

Then it was off to Corfu Yacht Yard for haulout and decommissioning systems. Another 2 1/2 days of hard work. Everything went well and Wild Indigo is wellprepared for wet and cold.
Much better prepared than we were for the change of temperature and rain we encountered on arrival in NZ.

The flight home was arduous. One hour to Athens - then Doha, easy so far. Then Doha to Auckland - proved to be too long and too far. We had had enough and were cold but pleased on finally reaching our destination. We are still feeling the cold 4 days later.
