Lindos was a gem. Just a short distance down Rhodes from the main town. It is a very sheltered bay, although there are a lot of rocks on the sea floor. We spent 2 nights there and walked up the hill to the castle. Quite a large town exists presumably on the tourism brought by the Castle. Narrow winding streets with many tourist shops line the way and donkeys provide transport for those who want something different. Presumably copying Santorini but without the extensive climb.
