Nisis Gramvousa is an island on the North West side of Crete and the place we left from for the Peleponnessos.
We were stuck there for a few days waiting for a weather window to make the long voyage nortwards against the prevailing winds to Elaphanisos Island in the Peloponese. Our next stage on the way to the Ionian.
It was a wonderful place to wait out high winds with clear water and a shallow anchorage
Dealing with the local tourist yachts was a mission  at times but was without incident in an anchorage where there was limited swinging room.
